This is why 3% is deducted from the donor at the point of making a donation by our third parties(payment processing fees). With the total fees of 5% we are able to cover those costs and can thereby guarantee to offer our services for social organizations (i.e. fundraising tools, knowledge, and reach) completely free of charge.
  • 3% Transaction costs and bank fees: As we are dependent on banks and payment service providers for any kind of transaction, every donation costs money. These fees are unfortunately fixed and deducted automatically by the payment system when a donor gives to a project. This does not affect the total funds earned or given to the Project Manager but rather the donor bears the cost.
  • 2% Operating costs disbursed by Impactghana.org which includes legal services, salaries, internet, software and others.
